May 21st was the first meeting of Vietnamese Alliance Youth (VAY) leaders at SJ2 office. Participators included representatives from different churches in the Bay Area. The meeting was led by MS Hung and Betsy Wang. MS Andrew and Raymond came to give support.
The objectives of the meeting included introducing all members and going over upcoming planned activities. However, the main mission of all VAY meetings would be to fulfill the Great Commission that Jesus instructed. Through worship songs, small group discussions, and activities, each of us was reminded that our responsibility was to grow as leaders and spread God’s words to the next generations. The road may be difficult with full of obstacles and frustrations at times, but Jesus had always been there to guide us like he did to the disciples.
Thank you, Justin and Dan for worship songs, Betsy for the meaningful games, and Lindsey for the delicious snack. Lastly, thank the Lord for reminding us the excitement and joy of meeting God that we should share with everyone.

PS: The next leaders meeting is going to be on Saturday May 23rd at SJ2 office in Milpitas.
